Hello?!

And we have a winner.... Kathrin!!! She will carry the title of "Dinka's biggest fan" for a day, given that she made a claim to the prize just mere minutes after the give-away was posted.
I'm glad she liked the stuff and it will be on its way in a few days.

I must admit though that I'm a little disappointed with the response out there! Hello? How about emailing me, people? I must conclude either everyone understands German and read Kathrin's comment, or my "artwork" is not all that great. Obviously the first has to be the case. It just HAS to be because I'm planning even bigger and greater projects and I can't go on thinking everyone considers it hideous. I need some support.. I know I can do it... I am not a loser... I AM creative.. creative, creative, creative!!! (imagine stamping feet and facial spasms)

In an unrelated story I am enjoying my fun minimum wage job. I am working at an apple orchard as a school tour guide... taking kids on a wagon (hence the tractor driving) to pick apples, then showing them the bees and how apples grow and stuff like that. It's really nice and fun. The children are just so funny. The adults are not so, but that's another story. All in all I'm having a good time.

Lincoln is having a job interview tomorrow, so you are all invited to send positive energy... the religious among you can pray. Just kidding.

I would have mailed, but since I wasn't the first ... you know I like winning (also imagine facial spasms :-) nevertheless, I am glad Kathrin is having your WONDERFUL placemats (this was the encouragement - I really do like them, the colours are beautiful and you did GREAT WORK!!!!! )
here comes a mountain of positive energy ( ) it's a pity I can't paint here - and also a mass of prayers (as you might have guessed up to now, I happen to be religious ;-)

I also really liked the place mat's Dinka. I am definately a Dinka fan but wasn't in a writing mood at the time. Have you thought of selling more items such as the place mat's on ebay? I know I would definetly love something like that for my home. If you decide to do that let me know. I hate plastic place matts, they make me think of fast food.

Well, I don't use placemats, but yours are quite lovely. I don't use them because the kids take them and slide them off the table with their plates on them-not a pretty site.

And yes, you are creative...

Oooohhh, you get to ride a tractor? Hey rides! Woo hoo! Oh, I know your job is minimum wage, but it sounds like so much fun. Do you get treats like apple cider donuts? Apple cider? Mmmmmm.
