28 weeks: It's not pretty
This picture is fuzzy but oh, so realistic! The padding on the hips, the shirt sliding up, the pants sliding down... I told Lincoln this is when I start feeling like that fat sweaty kid in school. You know, the one whose pants are always about to fall off, his undershirt and underwear showing, messy and always a little out of breath. That's me. That cute pregnant look you see in the GAP ads lasts about 3 1/2 minutes in my case. From the throes of nausea I expertly slide into full-on cow mode.
But anyway... this is a fun time because being big means the baby is coming soon. Maybe 2-3 months doesn't sound soon to you, but it is to me. That's a few weeks until my life is all unraveled again... in a exhausting but good way. I am getting excited and anxious and selective in my memory. The knowledge about the raw first weeks of mothering a newborn has to be clouded, so I can look forward to having a baby and be positive about birthing for 30+ hours...

I understand how you FEEL, but, to me, you look beautiful. I just think pregnant women are lovely. I suppose that's odd, but there you go.
Hope it's not 30+ hours for you, though! My second was quicker by a whole lot ... I think our first was about 21 hours and the second was 7. So maybe ...?? One never knows! (Our third was 8; he was a bit larger than the others.)
Anyway, you are beautiful to this old mom! :-)
