Rosemary in Danbury

Like every week, Veronika and I were grocery shopping at Stew Leonard's. Only today we had to fight the crowds as tomorrow is New Year's Eve and everyone needs to get their dinner stuff ready. So as I'm pushing my gut and my cart through the throngs of people, a woman bumps into me from the back. She turns around, as do I, and says with a smile: "I'm sorry!"

That woman was Mia Farrow.

Aw, I really like Mia Farrow. I know I would have been star struck had I seen her. Reminds me of how I had a Woody Allen sighting just outside the Met several years ago, but that was post the Soon Yi scandal and I remember being livid on Mia's behalf. Grrr...

Wowzers!

And did you react or anything? I have a tendency to not say anything when I see a "star", but having one run into me ... well ... that *might* get me to say something. (I'm a total introvert, though, so even that might not do it.)

I kinda ran away. When I realized who she was all I could think of was staring and saying something stupid like: YOU ARE MIA FARROW!
I didn't think she'd appreciate either. Although she did seem really nice.
