What's the patron saint of TVs?
Our TV broke, well the screen went dark. It's in the repair shop and I'm waiting for "Joe" (describing the repair shop and its inhabitants would take an entire entry by itself, let's just say i'm hoping the TV comes back alive) to call me and tell me if it's fixable. I am holding my breath. I need the TV back badly, I'm not ready to buy a new one. In addition to that Veronika has the week off from preschool... and so here we are, two hyper toddlers and one tired old woman and no TV and if we don't get that box back soon, my screen is going to go dark too.
I added a video each to Ivan's and Veronika's sites and if you'd like to be notified in the future when that happens, I highly recommend www.bloglines.com. It's a website you can list all your favorite blogs in and whenever one is updated it will tell you. That way you only have to check one site (bloglines) and not a gazillion (like I used to). This works especially well for sites that are not so frequently updated - *cough-like ours-cough*. I've been using it for a few months now and love it.
Back to herding the kids...

I believe the patron saint is St. Clare of Assisi. I have good reason to know this, having been in a similar predicament before. ;)
Yup! St. Clare. "Toward the end of her life, when the was too ill to attend Mass, an image of the service would display on the wall of her cell; thus her patronage of television."
Can you watch DVDs on your computer? ;)
Ha! I was just joking, I had no idea there really was one...
