Almost 25 weeks... blog fodder
What comes to mind:
I've already entered the 24-hour-exhaustion-phase. Apparently the more pregnancies, the earlier all the symptoms. The kids have been sick continuously since the beginning of December (cold, 2 ear infections, major cough, complications from antibiotics = diarrhea, stomach bug...). I seem to have caught the last thing, although I'm "just" feeling nauseous and wiped. Ivan is almost two and his energy is about 99% higher than mine. I feel all I do is run after him yelling. That and dispose of impossibly soiled diapers (and pajamas and bedding and...) The dog needs a walk. I need a vacation. And a cleaning lady (or gentleman, I'm not sexist.).

Hi Dinka,
I empathize with you. my sis-in-law had sleepless nights caring for her two boys who have caught the flu bug. She is also very exhausted as the two boys have been throwing up and have diarrhea for almost 3 weeks now. She has been washing clothes and beddings non-stop. Hope you can get your much deserved rest. On the lighter side, the baby is obviously growing. Babies are always a blessing. Take care.

Courage! I feel 100% your fatigue...and it somehoe relieves me that you have the courage of writing about it. Somehow there is so much pressure on mothers to be impeccable and self controlled at all times, while our nerves and whole immune system is subject to a monstrous amount of stress on a daily basis. Can you get some help? perhaps it's worth the financial effort for a few weeks, the time to gather your strenght back...wishing you all the best, I enjoy tremendously reading your blog!
I SO get how you feel...
I never got a cleaning lady (gentleman) but I was SOOOO tempted too. Now why can't we woman just go and do something like that without feeling guilty about it? You know what? You SHOULD do it... and hang the expense, and never mind feeling guilty...
