July 25, 2006: He rolled over!
This is so exciting for me because Veronika never really did. Well she did sometime around 5-6 months but with a lot of coaxing (and a little cheating) on my part. She also really hated it. But the boy... he could hardly wait. I'm not surprised though. He is so strong and he loves to move. We put him on the floor to play and within a second he rolled on his side to grap a toy. Next time I looked he was on his belly, a little unhappy over the discomfort since his head is still pretty enormous for his neck, but still very obviously determined to continue with this exercise. I know I'll be in trouble with this one as far as mobility is concerned, but nevertheless I'm excited to watch him be so active.
